Our Guide to Volunteering Your Time

Posted by admin on August 30, 2010 in Activist, Best Social Resources, Commerce

Volunteering; coming together as a community, and assisting the poor in the vicinity. And actually, it’s really much more straightforward to get involved when someone else has organized the event. Keep in mind that you’ll have more fun volunteering with your co-workers pitching in by your side!

Acknowledging the gravity of this problem, firms have begun making themselves into organizing points to help their employees work for the community. A leader in this field is Adaptive Marketing LLC of Connecticut who developed shopping programs such as DealMax. Company based initiatives like these used to be annual occasions — but this has come to be seen as the minimum of effort. Athletic shoe recycling initiatives and more active work like tree-planting weekends — these and others are among the activities that have been scheduled by Adaptive Marketing for its workforce. Using central organization the initiatives blossomed into larger events, with specific times, dates, and locations publicized in advance to help those signing up with their time management. Of course, it’s important to let volunteers select activities that fit their hobbies. Firms involved in this like Adaptive Marketing, (who offer to the public programs like DealMax) offer their staffers a wide assortment of drives in their community. These may include getting involved in arts and culture, helping out young adults, working on green initiatives etc. A volunteer who takes pleasure in his task is an effective volunteer, consequently, through offering so many programs Adaptive Marketing ensure that progress can be made in a great many areas.

Typically a company supported volunteer program — fundraising with a local school or assisting at a homeless shelter — is either done on a regular schedule or as a one-off event. Staff may well contend that they don’t have the free time, but usually even they can often free up enough resources to lend a hand with some smaller one-day event. You’ll find plenty of examples of companies giving back to the people who live nearby. Adaptive Marketing like many other companies supports volunteer activities in part to generate goodwill within the local community by the activities of its staff. One thing volunteer projects are certain to do is leave your workforce feeling good about themselves, which creates a motivated corporate culture.

Non-Profit Organizations and Mr. Nathaniel Lipman

Posted by admin on March 22, 2010 in Best Social Resources, Miscellany

Make sure you inspect this tremendous site for Trilegiant instructions…

So what have you heard about a firm called Trilegiant? When you look at its specialty, the management of subscription initiatives - it is among the strongest in the U.S.A.. Trilegiant and its CEO Nathaniel Lipman connect with a great many retail and service brands chosen from the major shopping, dental, travel, health, and similar firms to benefit your buying experience. Nathaniel Lipman and Trilegiant are not new to the field. With over thirty five years of expertise across an expanding region (now covering six states) and a 3000 strong workforce, the Connecticut business has nothing left to prove. More than twenty-five million customers across America rely on Trilegiant’s programs at the time of writing. Mr Lipman’s aim is to invent risk free deals, allowing clients to guarantee quality, make economies, all without purchasing turning into something awkward or inconvenient. Initiatives like Buyers Advantage give customers low priced extended warranty protection, return guarantees, and repair cost insurance so they can be sure acquisitions are protected. Trilegiant also, of course, offer other programs such as HealthSaver - which offers inexpensive quality healthcare - just to look at a single example.

In addition, the business watches out for the spirit of the entire community, with both President and CEO Mr Lipman and its staff members believing that it is their place to give back. For example, during 2005 forty Trilegiant employees teamed up and earned upwards of thirty thousand dollars to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. What’s more, it took them scarcely five days to achieve!

Equally critical to Trilegiant is getting information to clients. Had you read that in 2005 alone there were nearly 6,420,000 reported traffic fender benders in the USA alone? Trilegiant does - and they’ve given it some thought. Keep in mind that that’s just the recorded collisions - the number leaves out unreported fender benders and more serious accidents or instances of “road rage” which happen in their millions each year. In order to help prevent customers and their families from comprising part of these numbers, a car club called Autovantage began distributing its yearly road rage surveys nearly three years ago. To enhance your safety, the useful tips enclosed within are presented to improve public awareness. Assisting your customers and the population you’re part of is paramount, whether or not most corporations realize it; Trilegiant is proud to be among the businesses who understand. Their range of schemes improve the shopping experience for consumers, and their hard work for charitable goals and the drive to educate the public on essential questions helps the firm give back to the global community. They’re precisely what you would dream of from a consumer assistance oriented business.

My Best Pointers Touching on Nathaniel Lipman

Posted by admin on March 9, 2010 in Best Social Resources, Miscellany

The firm of Trilegiant is one of the best known third-party service providers in North America managing and offering club and loyalty schemes. Trilegiant and Nathaniel Lipman, its President, team with several service brands chosen from the large retail, dental, entertainment, and protection services to streamline their members’ retail experience. It would be fair to say that Mr Lipman’s company has experience to spare. Boasting more than thirty-five years’ expertise in a growing region (now covering six states) and 3000 staff members, the business from Connecticut has nothing left to prove. This growth allows them to aid over twenty-five million consumers spread across America. The business has become known for producing risk free innovations which make it easy for consumers to make savings, acquire quality services, as well as making your shopping less troublesome. Just as an example, affordable insurance for long term warranty, guaranteed returns, and the cost of repairs are available to be bought using the Buyers Advantage program. Other programs like HealthSaver make quality healthcare affordable, and that only mentions a couple of the excellent services that the company oversees. It is those occasions when they turn their attention its attention to the neighborhood that Trilegiant’s dream makes its mark. Individual events organized inside the company even by small factions of workers often generate charitable donations of tens of thousands of dollars in about five days — without doubt the result of a commitment worth paying attention to.

One way they try to help is using research. As you’re aware, year to year private firms and the government of the United States gather a remarkable quantity of statistical data. Trilegiant examines this research carefully to identify problems and then considers ways of improving them. To take an example, the number of vehicle accidents in the U.S.A. each year is approximately six and a half million.

As a way to prevent motor users and their families from comprising part of these statistics, the car club Autovantage started to distribute yearly “road rage” surveys in 2007. These contain digests of important information and useful tips to increase your awareness.

Assisting your clients and the population in which you’re based is vital, even if most companies don’t understand it; Trilegiant is happy to be one of the companies in the know. Using projects introduced to enhance customers’ shopping experiences and a true embracing of the community’s goals they make it clear precisely where their interests lie. To summarize, they are a superb community minded company.

Your Business and the Community — Improving Your Standing with Volunteer Work

Posted by admin on February 9, 2010 in Best Social Resources, Commerce

I expect you know that giving your time as a volunteer is a way for you to make your community stronger and in the same stride assist the needy. The obvious problem is that freeing up the time to volunteer can consume time that could readily be put to so much better use elsewhere. Obviously, if you volunteer as part of a larger effort with co-workers, it’s likely to be far more fun.

Following this logic companies like Adaptive Marketing LLC, a firm from Connecticut that developed shopping programs including 24Protect Plus, are making themselves the points of organization for volunteer activities and helping employees find the time to pitch in. Luckily, company-supported volunteer work is more than once-a-year donations. Looking at a specific company, Adaptive Marketing has provided its staff members with chances to help with anything from running shoe recycling campaigns to tree-planting events. Using central organization the initiatives developed into larger programs, with specific times, locations and dates published early to help those signing up with their time management. It is essential to let volunteers support activities that fit their hobbies. At Adaptive Marketing, the people who brought you 24Protect Plus, members of staff can pick and choose from a diverse list of drives in their local area. You’ll soon see your civic-minded members of staff working on environmental initiatives etc. The result is that Adaptive Marketing volunteers have the chance to find the most effective way to work and have fun their time volunteering.

A regular addition to their schedule or a single big event — this is how a company tends to organize this kind of volunteer initiative, possibly at a nearby homeless shelter or the local school. This means that if you’ve only got enough time to assist at a Saturday morning park clean-up or the public library’s sale of used books, you’ve still got plenty of time to contribute.

We’re sure you’ve heard a number of examples of firms giving back to the people who live nearby. A sense of community goodwill builds from the volunteer work carried out by Adaptive Marketing’s employees through these company-sponsored projects. What volunteer initiatives are certain to do is leave your workforce feeling good about themselves, which leads to a motivated business. Setting out to help employees to volunteer rewards everyone involved.

Eco-Efficiency - How Every Business Can Go Green and Still save Money

Posted by admin on January 21, 2010 in Best Social Resources, Commerce, Miscellany

In the beginning, when Henry Kravis and his partner George Roberts launched Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co (KKR) in the seventies with help from the First Chicago Corporation, the company’s main business was in leveraged buyouts. But just a year ago they have assembled an extraordinary green proposal that concentrates not solely on maximizing profit margins, but likewise on how ecologically aware each of their companies are. KKR’s Henry Kravis and the non-profit environmental advocacy group Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) joined forces last year, with the mission of making green business operation an accepted concept. Critical issues like hazardous waste and unconscionable water consumption are high on their list of priorities.

Eco-efficiency (a phrase initially submitted by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development WBCSD) comprises the framework for their mission, using techniques such as using clean energy, reducing the intensity of materials and optimizing data centers for efficiency. Although the program was an enormous success, no-one recognized how significant the results were until Ken Mehlman, the head of the project and global public affairs, analyzed the first year’s profits.

To learn more, we recommend you inspect this prime webpage for Henry Kravis guidelines!

Only at that point did Ken find out that eco-efficiency wasn’t only helping to conserve the local environment, but it was also helping to save business concerns a large sum of money. Nearly all of the business organizations held by Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co and Ken Mehlman nowadays use eco-efficiency. Still, when you consider that the group has a current portfolio with an estimated worth of 86 billion dollars, you can be sure this wasn’t an easy see what an enormous achievement this is. KKR in association with Ken Mehlman have also expanded on the initial project. To illustrate, KKR got together with the Environmental Defense Fund’s Climate Corps Program a venture that teaches MBA interns how to introduce cost-efficient, green practices. Moreover, Ken Mehlman has worked closely with KKR to produce metrics which all kinds of businesses can use to evaluate resources. This type of data is critical as any sort of business can evaluate each of their day to day activities and identify precisely how they can solve any problems while simultaneously permitting staff to find out their impact on the planet.

Henry Kravis, the KKR, and the Environmental Defense Fund truly are groundbreakers when it comes to campaigning for green business techniques. These developments have set a benchmark for business organizations in any sector and established that running a profitable business need not entail the hefty price of damaging the environment.

The Firm that Cares: Trilegiant Examined

Posted by admin on November 30, 2009 in Best Social Resources

Are you familiar with a firm called Trilegiant? In its field, the organization of subscription initiatives, it is one of the biggest in North America. Working with several service and retail brand names, many of them you’d consider some of the most important companies in shopping, entertainment, health, consumer protection organizations in addition to many others, Trilegiant sets out to streamline their members’ retail experience. No one would deny that Trilegiant has experience aplenty. Operating out of the state of Connecticut, Trilegiant opened in 1973 and has grown until it boasts initiatives in six states, 8 locations, and approximately 3.000 knowledgeable employees. This size allows them to assist over 25 million customers spread across America. Mr Lipman’s intent is to produce risk free innovations, allowing consumers to ensure quality, save money, and all without purchasing becoming irritating. To give one example, the Buyers Advantage scheme gives clients a way to obtain reasonably priced insurance on extended warranties, return guarantees, and the cost of repairs, thereby ensuring their confidence with regard to their acquisition. Other services like HealthSaver provide quality healthcare on a decent budget, and keep in mind that these are just two of the excellent services that the company offers. It’s those frequent occasions when the company gives back to the local neighborhood that Trilegiant’s dream can shine. Single projects coming from within the firm by even small collections of colleagues are known to generate donations to charity of $30.000 in roughly five days - without doubt a result not to be sniffed at. They also set out to help by distributing research. As you’re probably aware, each year privately-held firms as well as the government of the U.S.A. collate an amazing quantity of hard information. Trilegiant scrutinizes this research with care to identify issues and then considers ways of improving them. To take one example, the number of automobile accidents in the United States every year is several million strong.

Nobody would want their own automobile to become part of these figures, particularly the nastier accidents, and for the last three years Autovantage car club members have received copies of the company’s annual “road rage” factsheets. Inside, you’ll find summaries of crucial information and helpful tips to improve public awareness.

Lipman’s Trilegiant is the perfect example of a firm which sees the significance of its community. Their various schemes enhance the purchasing experience for customers, and their hard work on behalf of charitable goals and the desire to educate the populace regarding essential matters means Trilegiant improves the world in which it is based. They’re just what you’d hope from a community assistance oriented business.

Ever Been Called a Banana Eater on a Blog Before?

Posted by admin on November 29, 2009 in Best Social Resources

Well now I have seen it all folks. You see while discussing the war against international terrorism online I have been called a Banana Eater? Now you might think this is funny and really it kind of is, however when you consider the lack of positive communication in the world one has to wonder if the human race will ever get along.

After this gentleman online called me a Banana Eater and a few other choice words I eventually had to ask him about this behavior; “I see so you have changed your tune. Instead of a Banana Eater I am a “Sad little Prick” I see interesting comments. You indicate that you believe that I the previous “banana eater” now upgraded to the Queens’ welcome of “sad little prick” have misquoted you in some way? I see interesting as you were the one who had indicated these things not I.”

Silly Bob no one is threatening you and as you may be aware the United States will hunt down and kill all the international terrorists and we will win the war on terror and you know that as a policy we believe that you are either with us or you are with the International Terrorists, which by your own words use 9-11 as an example of what the US deserves or gets for all its generosity in the world. Helping all the peoples of the world. Of course Bob would not leave it alone and he states;

“Everyone is your enemy you sad little insecure, loser who is filled with hate and fear! God i pity you and idiots like you! You make me sick!”

I find it fascinating really Bob’s logic? In another thread he seems to indicate that the US should open its borders to illegal immigration yet Bob is in the UK where the borders are not open to illegal immigration. In this thread he seems o indicate that the US is wrong for being in this war yet the UK fights along side us? So I basically told Bob;

“You seen to support International Terrorism, Hamas, Insurgents in Iraq threatening democracy, liberty and a Free Iraq and blame the US for the problems? Really interesting take on all this. Then rather than debating facts you slip into this personal attack of calling others stupid, banana eaters, sad little pricks and now you call me a terrorist? Why that is such a childish comment silly Bob.”

In Bob’s arguments he is comparing apples to oranges and calls others banana eaters. I think everyone has had enough of his online virtual fruitcake really. Perhaps Bob might like to try some of his own?

Additionally Bob seems to indicate that say that I an American am evil and spreading hate and want to kill everything that is not like me. No, completely the opposite, I am benevolent, but will not allow or condone those who spread hate of religious fundamentalism and attack innocent life as International Terrorists and threaten the world with violence, bombings and beheadings? This must stop and we cannot allow it. Bob seems to disagree? Okay, that is his opinion, but crossing that line in supporting insurgents, international terrorists, Hamas, nukes in Iran is a whole other thing.

The United States of America must continue to wipe out all International Terrorists world wide and kill them dead. Now then do you agree? And thus Bob owes me a public apology for the Banana-rama comments and the one about the sad little prick. Neither are close to reality and it is unbecoming of a gentleman from the UK to talk like that. I trust Bob in the real world is a better man than that?

Are these folks on the Blogs real people? And if so, what are they really up to? Causing such a stir of sound and fury. Personally I think most everyone on these forums is completely full of it or smoking some drugs? Maybe even International Terrorists trying to sway public opinion. Trust no one on online forums.

What You Need to Know about the Enterprising Vision of Naveen Jain — Factual Humanitarianism at Its Finest

Posted by admin on October 22, 2009 in Best Social Resources, Commerce

You will very likely have seen mention of Mr. Naveen Jain in connection with him being the co-founder and CEO of Intelius, Inc. the predictive intelligence company. Well beyond having made the Forbes list “400 Richest in America” in 2000, this eminently successful businessman has received diverse choice awards, foremost the WSA Industry Achievement Award, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and the Albert Einstein Technology Medal. Nevertheless things definitely expand out from there. That’s because Jain and his family are just as fervent about philanthropy and will seek to assist others as frequently as they are able to. There can be no doubting the fact that children are definitely our world’s treasured resource and its future. This entrepreneur views (and treats) them as the pivotal core of his philanthropy works and he takes any chance available to help them. This, too, is why he is always untiringly exploiting every chance available to offer assistance whenever even remotely possible. Thus, Naveen Jain, his relations and the employees at Intelius pledge their time to many different charities e.g. the Indian American Education Foundation, the University Preparatory Academy, and the Children’s Hospital. As can be expected, they assign magnanimous material aid but even more importantly, they sacrifice their time and energies to the most deprived and risk prone children. Beyond that, he helps finance the Children’s Hospital, striving to improve child health. Seeing that Naveen Jain is a former student of the Indian Institute of Technology and XLRI Jamshedpur, it’s not at all astonishing that professional training is a critical hub in his benevolent operations. This embraces causes and aid organizations that are local, state, and nationwide. So it only stands to reason that Intelius and its co-founder are involved in aiding voluntary entities and organizations such as Child Rights and You (CRY), the Vedic Cultural Center and the Rotary Club.

Providing for the planet’s hungry constitutes another essential challenge to Jain and his folks and to him, it makes not a speck of difference. Although Naveen Jain is aware that the task of obtaining provisions for all the world’s hungry is an eminently titanic one, he is also cognizant that the unachievable can indeed be quite feasible provided everybody endeavors towards a unified end. If this CEO really gets his way, there will be a unquestionable conclusion to squalor and malnourishment everywhere at some point.

You would assume that as the man in charge of a spectacularly prosperous market leading enterprise and a committed spouse and father as well would leave him with little free time for philanthropic projects. However, he ensures that each of his benevolent endeavors may rely on all the help he can realistically contribute. This entrepreneurial man is indisputably much more than a simple leader of Internet commerce. He is an outstanding person and an exceptional community advocate.
