Men suffering from erectile dysfunction are also suggested to go through the valuable information about Viagra which would educate them about its usage and benefits. This information is easily accessible at various medical shops and online pharmacy stores. Buying online is the best way to buy as cheap Levitra is easily available here.
When choosing an online pharmacy you should check an online pharmacy like you would any other online business, make sure they have an address & phone number should you have a problem need to get in touch & only pay through secure payment methods.
You should have a complete medical history and exam to determine the cause of your impotence before buying Levitra. It seems these days that it has never been easier to obtain non prescription medicines & with the advent of the online pharmacy the process has become even easier. In the
Whilst an online pharmacy cannot & indeed will not claim to be able to replace your health professional for consultation and advice they are undoubtedly a useful addition to the medical treatment armory at your disposal. They are available 24 hours a day 365 days of the year so used wisely you may wonder what you ever did without one.
Lately, I’ve been hearing a lot about how wrong for our bodies the current recommendations from our most respected medical institutions are. Well-known diet gurus and nutritional researchers have stepped up to the plate to declare that the high carbohydrate, low fat diet regimens recommended by such institutions as the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association and the United States Department of Agriculture are misinformed, and frankly unhealthy.
Instead, they charge, our diets should include lots of high quality protein, fat should not concern us, and carbohydrates are the enemy. This has set the stage for battles between the weight loss industry and the health industry - with the only agreement between them seeming to be the need to lose weight.
The problem is - they’re both wrong. And they’re both right. The most regularly leveled criticisms of each seem legitimate - until you examine the recommended diets in depth. Sit down and look at the recommended menus. Take them to the calorie calculators and compare ingredients and nutrients. I did, and what I found was a revelation.
In the most practical sense, they’re all talking about the same diet.
Oh, there are minor variations that have been grossly blown out of proportion by the advertising hype. There are misinterpretations thathave been stated as fact. The bottom line of each and every one of the Atkins Diet, the South Beach Diet, the Zone Diet, the American Diabetes Association diet, and the American Heart Association’s Heart Healthy Diet — all of them - is to derive the greatest portion of your caloric intake for the day from low carbohydrate vegetables. Spinach, broccoli, cabbage - leafy green. Carrots, summer squash, deep rich orange vegetables. Fruits with high calorie and antioxidant counts. Whole grains - and this is where the controversy seems to arise.
Almost without exception, proponents of the low carb diets for weight loss and maintenance have condemned the recommended diets for suggesting that adults should derive the greater portion of their diets from carbohydrates. What they fail to note is that also without exception, each of those ‘healthy’ diets strongly suggest avoiding white breads, starchy, processed foods, sweet snacks high in sugar and preservatives, and white rice.
On the other hand, the medical community has roundly condemned the low carb diets for encouraging the consumption of a diet high in saturated fats and cholesterol. But there is also a strong suggestion in each of those diets along the lines of “eat only until you are no longer hungry”. .. and a minimum consumption of vegetables. Dinner’s minimum suggested amount of vegetables is 2 1/2 cups. How hungry will you be after consuming two and a half cups of vegetable?
In the end, the bottom line of every weight loss program advertised is the same:
* Eat a well-balanced diet where most of the calories are derived from whole grains, vegetables and fruits.
* Eat fewer calories than you expend.
* Exercise moderately every day.
* Learn to eat that way as a lifestyle and you will lose weightand keep it off!

WHAT ARE THE SIX STEPS OF HEALING?
These are remedies you can use for your problem in order from safest to most dangerous: Step 0 is the safest; Step 6 the most dangerous. Use Steps 0, 1, 2 and 3 as preventive medicine. Prevention is an important, though often invisible, way of healing/wholing in the Wise Woman tradition. Deep relaxation, information exchange, energetic engagement, optimum nourishment (including touch) and exercise promote health with little or no side effects.
Examples are in parenthesis: (with a few of the modalities available at each step)
Step 0: Do Nothing
(sleep, meditate, unplug the clock or the telephone)
A vital, invisible step.
Step 1: Collect Information
(low-tech diagnosis, books, support groups, divination)
tep 2: Engage the Energy
(prayer, homeopathy, ceremony, affirmations, color, laughter)
Step 3: Nourish and Tonify
(herbal infusions and vinegars, hugs, exercise, food choices, gentle massage, yoga stretches)
Note: Healing with Steps 4, 5, and 6 always causes some harm.
Step 4: Stimulate/Sedate
(hot or cold water, many herbal tinctures, acupuncture)
For every stimulation/sedation, there is an opposite sedation/stimulation, sooner or later. Addiction is possible if this step is overused.
Step 5a: Use Supplements
(synthesized or concentrated vitamins, minerals, and food substances such as nutritional yeast, blue-green algae, bran, royal jelly or spirulina)
Supplements are not Step 3. There’s always a risk with synthesized concentrated substances that they’ll do more harm than good.
Step 5b: Use Drugs
(chemotherapy, tamoxifen, hormones, high dilution homeopathics, and potentially toxic herbs)
Overdose may cause grave injury or death.
Step 6: Break and Enter
(threatening language, surgery, colonics, radiation therapies, psychoactive drugs, invasive diagnostic tests such as mammograms and C-T scans)
Side effects are inevitable and may include permanent injury or death.
HOW TO USE THE SIX STEPS OF HEALING
If you want to remedy your problem with the least possible side effects and danger, start at Step 1. After reading Step 1, pick one remedy from Step 2 and set a time limit for working with it. If your problem is unresolved within that time, decide if the time limit needs expanding or if you are ready to go to Step 3. Continue in this manner, moving to Steps 4, 5 or 6 as needed, until your problem is solved.
Each step up increases the possibility of side effects and their severity so try at least one of the Step 2 techniques, even if they seem strange to you, before going onto the remedies of Step 3 and beyond (note also that time spent at Step 2 will help you choose appropriate remedies at Step 3 and so on). When your problem is resolved don’t stop. Go back through the steps, in reverse, before resting at Step 0.
You can continue to take remedies from a previous Step after moving on, but be cautious about the use of Step 4 remedies in combination with Step 5 remedies.
If you deem it necessary to heal through Step 5 and/or 6 (and real healing can and does take place with the aid of drugs and surgery) and have not yet tried any techniques from Steps 2 and 3, do so immediately. Engaging the energy, nourishing and tonifying will aid and abet the healing powers of the more dangerous healing ways and help prevent or moderate their side effects.

The Mysterious Frankincense
Used for many thousands of years, the Frankincense tree has perhaps the greatest association with spiritualpractice of any plant on earth. In most of the great ancient cultures, including the Egyptian, Babylonian, Persian, Hebrew, Greek and Roman civilizations, it has played a role inreligious and domestic life. Frankincense has been sought after by kings and valued as highly as gold. Morerecently, the essential oil is gaining popularity with spiritual seekers and natural healers alike. What isso special about this tree that its ‘pearls’ were given as a gift at the birth of one of history’s most reveredprophets?
The Hardy Tree and its Tears
The Frankincense tree, or Olibanum, upon first glance, may seem rather unremarkable. It appears as agiant shrub, with many knurled branches topped with abundant slender leaves and occasionally, small white flowers.A native to northern Africa, it looks like it belongs in the desert, growing in some of the world’sharshest conditions. But it is not the tree itself, but rather its sap that has such profound lore surroundingit. Whenthe tree’s bark is pierced with a knife (known traditionally as a ‘Mingaf’), a milky-white oleoresin is exuded- thought the tree is not harmed. The resin forms droplets known as ‘tears’ or ‘pearls’, which harden intothe orange-brown gum known itself as Frankincense. The English name of this natural incense is derivedfrom the medieval French ‘franc’,meaning ‘pure’ or ‘free’, and from the Latin ‘incensium’, meaning ‘to smoke’.
History’s Most Popular Incense
For more than 5000 years, the hardened resin has been burned in temples throughout Egypt, China andIndia; the Catholic church continues to use it today during Mass. It is one of the four main ingredientsin Jewish ceremonial incense, forming an important part of the Sabbath day offerings. The smoke of Frankincense(as with other ritual incense) is thought to carry prayers to heaven upon it’s smoke. It is also said todeepen the breath and still the mind, making it useful for meditation and yogic practice. Theincense may have health benefits as well, producing a highly antiseptic smoke, keeping churches and churchgoersfree from disease.
According to ancient documents, the great Baal temple of Babylon consumed 2 and a half tons of Frankincensea year. The Frankincense trade was of immense importance in ancient times, peaking about 2000 years ago.Caravans grew to as many as 2 to 3 thousand camels in size. Cities grew up along the trade routes, and heavytaxes and fees for protection, lodging and camel fodder raised the cost of the resin considerably, so muchso that it was valued as much as gold. The wealth involved inspired Alexander the Great to plot to control theregion, though his death happened to preceed the invasion.
Health Benefits
Frankincense resin is thought to have a bounty of health properties - it was an ingredient in a rejuvenateface mask in ancient Egypt (it was also charred and used as the classic heavy eyeliner seen in much ancientEgyptian art), and at one time was “used to treat every conceivable ill to man”. In ayurvedic medicine itis known as salaiguggul, used for centuries to treat many conditions, including arthritis. Modern science has isolated the activecompounds found to have anti-arthritic properties. Called boswellic acids, these components inhibit theinflammatory process, improve blood supply and prevent further cartilage reduction.
Frankincense Essential Oil
Modern natural medicine and aromatherapy have taken to the use of the essential oil of Frankincense. The oil, havinga warm, woody, sweet aroma with a hint of citrus, is steam or CO2 distilled from the resin. It is used for respiratory conditions such as bronchitis, catarrh and asthma; for wrinkles, wounds and dryskin, and in cases of rheumatism, cystitis and leukorrea.
The most important effect of the essential oil may be on the nervous system. Regarded as an antidepressant, the aroma can both relax and revitalize, and can help in cases of nervous tension and exhaustion. Frankincenseoil contains sesquiterpenes, which stimulate the limbic system, the hypothalamus, the pineal and the pituitaryglands. The oil is now being researched for it’s ability to increase human growth hormone production. Further,it is considered to strengthen the immune system, which may in-fact occur as a result of it’s uplifting properties.
Frankincense essential oil can be used in a manner similar to burning of the incense in spiritual practice.Warming in a candle lamp or direct application to the temples and third eye will quiet the mind, deepen thebreath, and promote meditative stillness. It is often blended with Sandalwood, Myrrh and Cedarwood for suchuses, and the single-pointed concentration it invokes is thought to allow the spirit to soar.
Experimenting with Frankincense
Frankincense resin is widely available at reasonable costs. Most is wildcrafted, being extracted fromtrees growing in the deserts of northeast Africa - thankfully, the resource is abundant, as the treeseasily survive harvesting of the pearls. The small chunks of resin can simply be lit by themselves ina dish or similar container, and allowed to smolder and release their smoke. Frankincense is also availablein prepared incense sticks and other incense preparations. In the form of your choosing, simply lightand allow some quiet time to experience the deep aroma.
With the essential oil, a diffuser or warming lamp can be used to disperse the aroma throughout a space. The oil is also found in aromatherapy candles, where it is released from the heated oil beneath the burningwick. Frankincense oil can be applied directly to the forehead (it is non-irritating or sensitizing)where you can both capture the aroma and absorb the oil directly. Again, take a moment to sit quietlyto perceive any effects.
The wonderful gift of the Frankincense tree is available in many ways, and has come highly recommendedfor many thousands of years. Try adding a little Frankincense to your life, and see what the mystery is all about!

Am i overweight? This is one of the most commonly asked question
among people in all walks of life. You may have put on some
extra weight, but this doesn’t necessarily mean you have a
weight problem. Standing on the bathroom scales won’t tell you
whether you need to lose weight either, what matters is your
Body Mass Index (BMI). BMI finds out whether you weight falls
within the acceptable range relative to your height.
If your BMI is over 30, you are obese and should definitely
contemplate losing weight. Ideally, your BMI should be between
20 and 25, but if yours is a little above this, don’t panic. The
way the extra weight is distributed around your body is a
significant factor, more than the BMI count.
Doctors assess the extent to which you need to lose weight on
the basis of your body shape. There are two categories in body
shapes, apple and pear-shaped people.
Apple-shaped: This means that you tend to store fat
around your middle and is most common among men. Apples are
known to be at increased risk of a range of illnesses, including
heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes and are more
likely to have raised cholestrol.
Pear-shaped: This means that any excess fat tends to be
stored around the buttocks and thighs and seems to be associated
with lower levels of heart disease, high blood pressure and
diabetes.
Weight and your health: Being seriously overweight or
obese puts strain on your body. The joints in your knees and
hips are more prone to osteoarthritis. You may also find
yourself short of breath when making anything but the slightest
physical exertion. Excess weight is a factor in triggering
diabetes. Coronary heart disease, high blood pressure and
strokes are also more common in people who are obese.
If your BMI proves that you are overweight and after determining
your body type, you can contemplate a diet.
END-NOTE
Before you decide to take the plunge, make sure you weigh the
pros and cons of dieting…..
Diabetes mellitus is a disorder in which the pancreas fails to secrete sufficient insulin or the body’s decreased ability to use insulin. Diabetes mellitus is Greek for ‘a passing through of sweetness’ which refers to the passing of sugar rich urine, a characteristic of the disease. It is a very serious disorder, sometimes fatal and is the leading cause of death in Western society because of its damage to the cardiovascular system.
In a healthy body food is digested to release glucose into the blood. This causes beta cells in the pancreas to release insulin into the bloodstream. Insulin helps in the transportation of glucose from the blood to the liver and muscle cells. This can then be released later into the blood for metabolism. If the pancreas fails to produce sufficient amounts of insulin or if there is insulin resistance then diabetes will set in.
There are two types of diabetes, Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) also known as juvenile-onset diabetes, type 1 diabetes and Non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) also known as maturity-onset diabetes, type 2 diabetes. Both environmental and genetic factors contribute to both forms of diabetes mellitus but the exact cause of diabetes mellitus is unknown. In both types, excess sugar in the blood known as hyperglycemia needs to be removed by the kidneys. Excessive thirst, frequent urination, weight loss and hunger are the symptoms.
In type 1 diabetes the body’s immune system destroys the pancreas beta cells resulting in low insulin levels. To prevent death insulin injections are needed this is why it is called insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM). It is most common in people under 20 years old and then persists throughout life; this is why it is also know as juvenile-onset diabetes. IDDM is most common in Northern Europe especially in Finland where 1% of the population develops IDDM before the age of 15 years.
In untreated IDDM the cellular metabolism is similar to that of a starving person. This is because the insulin is not present to help the glucose into the body cells, to produce Adenosine triphosphate (energy currency) most cells use fatty acids. Triglycerides are stored in adipose tissues which are catabolized to yield fatty acids and glycerol. The breakdown of fatty acids cause a byproduct of organic fatty acids called ketones or ketone bodies. The buildup of ketones causes a fall in blood pH which is known as ketoacidosis, if this is left untreated it can cause diabetic coma and death.
Weight loss is also caused by the breakdown of stored triglycerides. Lipids are deposited on the walls of blood vessels as they are transported by the blood from cells storage depots. This leads to atherosclerosis and cardiovascular problems such as cerebrovascular insufficiency, ischemic heart disease, peripheral vascular disease and gangrene. Sever kidney problems may also arise from damage to renal blood vessels. Loss of vision due to cataracts (excess glucose attaches itself to lens proteins) and damage to the retina’s blood vessels.
To treat type 1 diabetes a regime of self-monitoring the blood glucose level (up to seven times a day), insulin injection (up to 3 times a day), exercise and regular meals containing 45-50% carbohydrates and less than 30% fats. This regime will keep the levels of insulin and sugar in the blood normal. It is also possible to have a pancreas transplant but immunosuppressive drugs must be taken for life. Eating foods containing carbohydrates such as rice, potatoes, bread and cereals will raise blood sugar and insulin levels. This sugar raising effect of a food is called ‘the glycaemic index’ and it measure how quickly the carbohydrate is absorbed by the body. Studies have found that people with type 1 diabetes have better control over their blood sugar levels by following a low-glycaemic-index diet.
Diabetics with neuropathy (diabetic nerve damage) have found their condition improved by following a vegan type diet (avoiding all meat, eggs and dairy products). By avoiding meat and dairy products, the chances of developing heart disease and kidney problems which diabetics are susceptible to, are reduced. Diabetics who smoke are at higher risk of developing heart disease and kidney problems. Diabetics who consume above the daily recommended amounts of alcohol are more at risk of developing problems with their eyes.

The method know as three dimensional ultrasound is that can be used when a woman is in early pregnancy, it provides 3d pictures of the unborn baby. Most of the time these images are captured and combined and animated to make a 4d ultrasound scan.
Three dimensional scanning works in a similar manner to the normal ultrasound methods except that the ultrasound pulses can be sent from multiple directions. The ultrasound pulses can be reflected back and captured and provide information to construct a 3-dimensional image in very much the same way as 3d movies. 3 dimesional ultasound scanning was first developed by olaf von ramm and stephen smith in america.
It is important to understand that sonologists around the world always pictured three-dimensional images of anatomy or pathology in their minds while carrying out 2d scans. However, until recently it was almost impossibel to do this kind of reconstruction on patient data acquired using ultasound scanning. With the advent of 4d scans for the first time allowed us a view into the brain of a sonologist and so letting us see the images on the ultrasound machine.
The 3d/4d ultrasound image should utilize ultrasound energy following the same limits as conventional 2d ultrasound to create the 3d images. While there is no information of harm due to 3d ultasound scanning, its use in none medical situations needs to be undertaken with an understanding of the risks involved.
